Here’s a few things everyone should know about oppression:

  • Oppressed people haven’t “Won” something
  • Talking about oppression is not a joyful activity people do to rub your nose in your privilege 
  • The fact that the above above sentence had to be written, made me want to vomit
  • If you think people talk about oppression because they think it’s fun, you are even more privileged and likely evil, then anyone could ever know
  • If you “Wish” you had an oppression to complain about, you are a disgusting individual
  • If you see/hear someone talking about their oppression and feel the need to jump in to tell the people in the conversation that you stubbed your toe once, you are a disgusting and OVER privileged individual
  • If you read this list and it pissed you off, you may want to think about the level of privilege it would take to actually be upset that other people are oppressed
